I'm a Spoiled Mama

First off, Happy Easter! I hope you've been enjoying your Easter Sunday, and I'm so excited to watch General Conference this week (I have it DVRd since I've been at work all weekend). It's our first Easter as "parents" and we got something special for our Baby Girl! I'll show it to you later this week :) We also are getting our ultrasound of her tomorrow to make sure everything is ok with her little face and umbilical cord which we missed in our 20 week ultrasound. Crossing my fingers she poses for us!

I really am spoiled. I've been so blessed with a great pregnancy and surrounded by so much support. I've also been able to spoil myself when it comes to enjoying some different luxurious belly creams by The Spoiled Mama. Now that my belly is about the size of a basketball (maybe bigger, I'm not sure) stretchmarks are on red alert. I haven't spotted any yet, and I'm trying to get better at using my different lotions and creams to keep them from appearing.
Yea, yea, I've heard the creams don't work and it's genetic but what could it hurt? I personally think keeping up your water intake and keeping your skin hydrated can help. So far I haven't spotted any on my belly!

I notice my skin does look different when I haven't used creams, there's a weird bump-like thing that starts to bulge above my belly button. I was worried for a moment that I had some kind of disease but I've noticed it in other belly photos so I guess it's normal! When my skin is silky smooth and hydrated though I don't notice it really at all, so I'm starting to think it's some kind of stretch mark trying to come up.

I've been lucky to find companies that use organic products to make nice creams and lotions.
The Spoiled Mama is a company that sells skincare products for women in each stage of mommyhood! I especially love that their products are so pure and natural! Here's a little info about them:
"All our products are formulated using a Superior Quality of Natural, Organic Ingredients Free from Preservatives, Synthetic Fragrances, Parabens, and Petroleum Derivatives. We only purchase organically grown ingredients here in the USA and if we are unable to find the best organics we guarantee that we support fair trade farmers and purchase only from them. We insure all testing is cruelty free and created under the strictest standards of quality and safety, making them better for Mamas and their Families."
It's cool cause there's a collection for pregnancy, breastfeeding, postpartum, and your baby. There's even one for the "Spoiled Daddy"!!

The Spoiled Mama send me their popular Bump Box, which comes with tummy butter and bump gloss. I just rub that stuff all over my tummy when I get out of the shower and my skin is left feeling silky smooth, and smelling nice the rest of the day! I'm pretty sure Spawnie likes it too. ... She wants her little cage to look nice.Want to spoil yourself? The Spoiled Mama has a nice array of products for every woman!

You can WIN a $50 GIFT CERTIFICATE to them right here! (Open to US and Canadian residence!)

Happy Easter girl. I will spoil myself rotten when is my turn. Enjoy the day with Hubby, Snoop and Ladybug!

I would buy the bump box for when I have my next baby. I couldn't use anything on my tummy when I was pregnant with the twins because everything made me itch. My stomach is still one big stretch mark, although it's not purple anymore. Maybe this would help make them get even less noticeable!

The pregnant woman should avoid highly spiced foods. She should drink plenty of water. Carrots, radishes, cucumbers, ripe tomatoes and such other sources of vitamins should figure prominently in her daily diet. She should divide her daily intake of food into moderate helpings taken at short intervals rather than stuffing up the stomach in two or three main meals. An increase of 12 to 12 kg in weight during the course of pregnancy is normal, but the increase in any one month should amount to no more than 1 or 1 ¼ kg. If she puts on weight at a faster rate than this, it may prove hazardous for both herself and her baby
