ATTENTION! Be sure to read the rules at the bottom of this post, this giveaway is a LIVE giveaway, and different than the others!
I love love LOVE personalized things for baby. I've tried really hard not to go overboard, knowing I will most likely have another child some day, and the poor thing will deserve custom things too. Ladybug has a personalized chair cover, a hooded towel, toybox, bracelet and diaper bag. We also have a monogrammed hospital bag with our initials.
Growing up I loved having things that I knew were MINE cause it had my name written all over it.
Maybe you're not as obsessed with personalized things as I am... Perhaps it doesn't promote sharing, either way, I'm sure you'll still find these adorable step stools totally adorable, and think of some other creative way to make it your own!Katie is the owner of KT Steppers and she always thought she would be a ‘Working Mother’ but never imagined it would be for her own company. She struggled with the desire to stay home and raise her family as well as longed to work outside the home to help with the finances.
"So, I thought to myself, what can I do/make and sell that would be a great gift and practical for the baby/toddler down the road," she said. "I was always creative and liked to draw, so knew I would go that route."
The first “stepper” was conceived when one of her family members was looking for something unique and personal for her best friend’s son, so she offered up a Kt Stepper.
"After further research, talking with other moms and friends, it confirmed for me that there was a great need for that 'special something' to give as a gift for just about every occasion in a young child’s life. “Our ‘Steppers’ are a special, custom and a personal way to say 'You’re one of a kind!'"
So what are steppers?* Ultra trendy, hip, sophisticated step stools with the attention to detail being the upmost importance. Each stepper is designed per order and can be matched to any theme, bedding, or décor desired.
* HUGE hit with baby showers, 1st birthdays, christenings, and so much more.
*‘Steppers’ are a great way to introduce independence and encourage brushing teeth, washing hands, reaching a toy, and even helping out mom & dad in the kitchen. They feel proud and like a real ’big kid’ for doing it all on their own!
* The cricket stepper is budget friendly, useful, and practical but they are also eco-friendly, made from parawood and only water-based paints ever used.
*For early childhood development of motor skills, our steppers can be a great help to coordinate gross motor skills and balance as well.

This mom has been through a lot too, she had a brain tumor when she was 22 and it could have effected her fertility but luckily it was benign and didn't. She now has been married for nearly nine years and has two boys! One is 5 and the other is 3.
She had some great advice for me!
{New Mama Advice}
You will get A LOT of advice on what to do, how to do it, etc… so the best advice I can give is to do what is comfortable and works for you, baby and husband. There are a lot of resources out there for new moms, but still nothing is an exact science on ‘how to be a mom’ it will come natural!Katie has offered to donate a custom Cricket Stepper to one of you party-goers, worth $49, but LISTEN UP cause we're doing this differently, it's a LIVE giveaway!

I like the Time out one :)
ReplyDeleteWhodoesntlovecoupons(at)yahoo(dot)com
I really like the idea of it being custom. I just found out I'm pregnant so I can't really do custom.
ReplyDeleteComment #1 of (two more)
Good luck to those who want the step. I don't have a little one to have the step personalized for. 239 is a lot of comments. I think that would be a record for a non-community blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm following your blog on google friend connect.
ReplyDeleteI also never heard of a live giveaway, but it seems interesting! Good luck everyone and me too, lol! :)
ReplyDeleteComment #2 of (two more)

ReplyDeleteWow so congrats on just 39 more days! Could be less, too! My first was 10 days late...;( Second was a scheduled C section almost 3 weeks early. LOL, so I was preggo with my first a month longer than my second. ;)

ReplyDeleteUghh yeah eating can be a challenge while you're expecting. Is this going to be your first?

ReplyDeleteHi Elana, I can see you.
ReplyDeleteOOh Elana I see one of your comments!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness!!! I was so sad when no one could see what i was writing.
ReplyDeleteHiya Peggy. Nice to see your comments!
ReplyDeleteI was at a garage sale last week and this lady was trying to sell her used baby clothes for $2.50 each, isnt that a little much?
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the best Mondays I've had in a long time.
ReplyDeleteI also recently ordered some hanna anderson clothes for DD. They're soft and seem good quality but the style is not so much my taste for her.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...it depends on the quality and how used, I think.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried Hanna Anderson...is it expensive?
ReplyDeleteThats true, also i guess i didnt look at tags either, maybe they were designer?
ReplyDeleteWow, you people move fast.
ReplyDeleteCould be...designer for $2.50 is pretty good! :-) But if it's something that you could get for $10 new then ehhh it's ok.
ReplyDeleteWe're just quick that way...lots to say. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy back hurts *so* much...I seriously need a massage.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby's back hurts too...maybe it's contagious. lol
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should make my hubby rub my back.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could do this type of giveaway on my blog, but I fear it would last days lol
ReplyDeleteI vote for hubby rubbing your back.
ReplyDeleteHaha me too! I wish I could get more followers for my blog...that would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteMe too...unfortunately I have a feeling he went to sleep already.
ReplyDeleteAre you ladies SAHMs? I plan on staying home, and possibly watching another child too. I've been a nanny for about 5 years, so I hope that helps in me getting started
ReplyDeleteFor me I watch the sales and a lot of times you can use coupons even with the sale.
ReplyDeleteActually he's not asleep...he's packing, like I should be doing.
ReplyDeleteElana do you do Friday Follows?
ReplyDeleteI often buy a season ahead at the end of season clearance. Especially for coats, I find 75-90 % off high quality coats for my kids. If I'm off when I guess the size they'll be the following year, I donate to Koats for Kids...;)
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't think so...what are they?
ReplyDeleteWow we must be getting close. I have no idea what number but prob getting there!
ReplyDeleteElana do you do Friday Follows?
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea, Island Girl! I definitely try to do things like that too...but I'm not always successful.
ReplyDeleteWhat are Friday Follows??
ReplyDeleteWe're not quite there...only around 160...
ReplyDeleteFriday Follows is like a blog hop that brings hundreds of bloggers together each friday. its pretty cool, I have gained lots of followers from it
ReplyDeleteI have sold items on craigslist but never bought yet. I'm very cautious, though. Meet in a public area usually with a friend...;)
ReplyDeleteI need to see my chiropractor...*sigh*
ReplyDeleteWhere do you do Friday Follows?
ReplyDeleteFor me the number says 134...;)
ReplyDeleteI've tried to sell on craigslist but never had any buyers...never bought from there.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you ladies think I should pack for my trip?
ReplyDeleteI want to make my daughter's hairbows! The ones you made are so cute!
ReplyDeleteIm trying to find a link to it for you, it might take a min
ReplyDeleteUgh...two tylenol for me. My legs and back are just in agony!
ReplyDeleteOkay for some reason I can't find it, i would just google Friday Follows, the blog midday escapades does it
ReplyDeleteNo problem Jenn...I'm patient.
ReplyDeleteAny ideas as to what I should post about on my other blog tomorrow? Maybe my shopping list... things I still need (or don't really need). I'm still trying to decide if I should do my MomTV show tomorrow... probably not, I'm tired. That lame huh? *sigh* I usually NEVER comment in my comments but this is kinda fun :) and I thought I'd help yall out! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteAre the hairbows hard to make? I make tutus for my girl, they're pretty easy esp with the 6 inch tulle. But the hairbows look hard! ;)
ReplyDeleteMomTV show? What is that?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the help!
I would love to make hair bows, if i have a girl of course.
ReplyDeleteOoh I'll have to look it up and try! The hairbows online are sooo expensive! ;)
ReplyDeleteOk, going to watch 24 with hubby! Good luck!! Yall ladies have fun! I think yall will be done by the time I get back, haha!
ReplyDeleteI just got two baby books today from good will, cause i wasn't about to pay full price, 57each for the book of 25,000 babynames and what to expect when your expecting
ReplyDeleteSome of the names in this book are crazy
ReplyDeleteI may have missed the comment but where are you going Elana?
ReplyDeleteI think my legs are going to divorce the rest of my body and just walk away lol.
ReplyDeleteLike i read one, and it means cat pee in Chinese, hmmm don't think i'll use that one
ReplyDeleteWhat book is that?
ReplyDeleteNice Elana, I feel like that sometimes too
ReplyDeleteGoing "home" to visit my mom. I'm from Rochester, NY but now live in Boston, MA. So we're going to Rochester tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI want to take a trip so badly.
ReplyDeleteSounds like an interesting baby name book. I think you can leave cat pee for a name. lol
ReplyDeleteI think its called 25,000 names for your baby (and what they mean)
ReplyDeleteYeah but I wish I could just teleport there...driving takes forever, but I *hate* flying.
ReplyDeleteLOL Maybe we don't want to know what the name means. hehe
ReplyDeleteI'm from Albany Ny but live in windermere fl (3 miles from the magic kingdom, Disney)
ReplyDeleteTry driving like 1200+miles, not fun lol
ReplyDeletemaybe about mommy pampering....massage, pedis, ;)
ReplyDeletePlane tickets are really expensive now.
ReplyDeleteI had one prenatal massage and it was amazing!!!! Every pregnant mom should have at least one!
ReplyDeletePrenatal massage, never heard of that. Sounds nice!
ReplyDeletethose are 2 good books Jenn!
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, I think they need to invent teleporters.
ReplyDeleteOhhh now I *really* want a massage!!!
ReplyDeletethe hardest part about naming my kids was my husband and I could not agree!!!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI'm all about the teleporters! I miss my mom terribly, and wish I could go there more often
ReplyDeleteJenn, we're going to drive right through Albany! Or right around it really.
ReplyDeleteI love baby names, though! Some people name their children such cool names!
ReplyDeleteIt would really make life so much easier. Less travel!!! Reduce pollution by a TON.
ReplyDeleteI understand on the agreeing part, its gonna be hard!
ReplyDeleteI grew up with a less than common name but I wanted a common name...Christine! LOL!!!
ReplyDelete
