Today Show Tomorrow (Today)

It took me about 20 years to make my television debut, it only took my daughter 9 months. The Today Show filmed at our house this evening for a segment about TMI (don't ya know I'm the queen of that!).

I'm not used to being the one answering the questions, I'm usually the one asking, them so hopefully I won't sound like an idiot. They did quite a bit of filming, but knowing how television news works, I know they'll cut down quite a bit. So I have no idea what will end up making it to air. I'll tell you more all about it after I see it, I just wanted to give you a heads up tonight!

So if you're awake or have a DVR try to catch us around 7am-ish!

(If you missed it here's the link I'll post my thoughts later!

He's what I've learned from being quoted/interviewed in the media a number of times- they ALWAYS pick the least intellegent thing you say to focus on! ALWAYS! Makes me smirk just a little to see the tables turned! HA! Can't wait to see it!

I loved it - you looked fabulous! And Lil' J was her normal adorable self!

Nice job answering the questions this time. Thanks so much for sharing the link...the lady holding the little girl in the pregnancy reveal clip is a friend of mine and it was fun to see!
Crazy that I watch it to see you, and see someone else I know too!

Hey congrats on the Today Show feature! :) from reading your blog for the past 8 months I felt like I was watching a friend get a moment in the spotlight. Also, lil' J was adorable! :)

I liked it! I must say, I was shocked at the percentage of people (63%) who endorsed the idea that pregnancy moments should be kept private. I don't think they should be kept secret, and I'm all for sharing a journey such as this with others because it can offer help to other couples.

Thank you for posting the link. You and your daughter are so sweet. That sweetness comes across the screen.
As far as the topic of the news segment, I feel what you share is appropriate. I wish there was something like this when I had my girls. It seemed that there was very little sharing going on and you didn't know what you were experiencing was normal or not.

Great interview Jen!!!

I think sharing is great. There were good points about NOT sharing... Like loss.. But I think in general, sharing this type of thing is a good idea or at least there is nothing wrong with it. I mean I have an infertility blog that I HOPE will someday be my baby blog!! Sharing is good. :)

Jen :)
