365 Love Letters Week 16

Ugh! I love my baby so much. Every day in these love letters I get writers block and can only think of saying what I tell her every day several times a day "I love you I love you I love you!" I know she loves me too and sometimes that's what gets me through the day.

I tried to be more creative this week with taking photos. I took some indoors, some outdoors, and played around with the editing more this week. I've been processing these differently. I used to take [dozens, then choose] a photo a day and write and edit it that night. But lately I've been taking the [dozens of] photos each day, and choosing a daily favorite at the end of the week, then writing them all together. This next week I'm going to try to go back to the old way and upload them each day on my facebook page each night. There's something special about completing one each day.

My favorite this week is probably Day 112. By habit I'm normally trying to get her whole little body in frame but with this shot I zoomed in to get her little hand going for a dandelion and I loved the way it came out. I took two quick shots and the one before you can see more of her hat, but I liked this one more, which focused more on her hand. My advice to her came naturally after editing this photo.

    I think this is my favorite week thus far. I think her personality is shining through so much as she gets a lil' older each week. Her pictures by the end of the year are going to be a trip!

    Jenn she is just GORGEOUS! I absolutely love her creamy skin & think curly hair...such a doll. And your photographs & quotes are awesome! I love reading these every week. In fact, I saw the post for it on Twitter & started to read it, then tried to talk myself into saving it for my normal reading times (during pumping nonetheless!) but couldn't resist haha! Great job!     If you have another child, its going to be really hard for you to do as much as you are doing for little J, like picture wise? You post so many things about little J what are you going to do when you have another baby, make a 365 for them too, so when they are older they don't ask, why don't i have all these pictures like my sister.

    Anonymous, I do worry about that to be honest, but should I pass up doing something on one child just because I fear I may not be able to do the same for subsequent children? What if I can't have any more? I will do something special for them too. It may not be the same, but it will be equally as special :)

    Picture 109 is definitely my favorite since I'm a dog freak...love that you didn't throw the dog outside when you had a baby!! Drives me insane when people call me to put their dog in rescue just because they've had a baby! Thanks for showing that you can have a baby and a fur baby at the same time.
